Printable Father’s Day Coupons and local Pennsylvania event!

Published by momma at 9:29 pm under Contests & Sweepstakes, Crafts & Creations Edit This

Hi everyone! School is almost over for most of us. My kids still have until next week, and I noticed thatthe older they become, the less bring home crafts they make. So I thought it would be nice, and appropriate for older kids who want to do something nice for dad could print out these FREE printable Father’s day coupons I found on Family Fun.com.

CLICK HERE TO GO DIRECTLY TO THE PAGE!

They are nice because they cover things dad would appreciate from an older child, like cleaning out the garage and taking out the garbage. There are blank coupons where you can write in your own gift. I think it would be a great opportunity to suggest adding in things that would be an activity just the teen and dad can do.  For example, Home Depot has a Saturday morning free clinic where you can sign up and create something. It usually is one parent per child/teen, but it is a great, FREE hands on opportunity to do something together. Contact the local Home Depot in your area to find out when the free clinic is held and what the upcoming projects will be. Most classes are on Saturday mornings begining around 10:00 am.  When my hubby went with our son, they built an entire birdhouse together. It was a wonderful experience and they loved spending the time together! That could be one of the coupon gifts if that’s something dad would like to do.

Lastly, I wanted to mention a local Pennsylvania event which will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2009. It’s called the Juneteenth festival. It will be held on the Lehman Township Park field in Bushkill, Pennsylvania. My business, Pocono Party Planners and I will be there making cotton candy and face painting, plus we will have a table of inexpensive kids crafts like making braceletts and necklaces and candle making.

There is free admission for everyone and all ages are welcome. There will be other crafts and food vendors in location, plus music and activities! It will be from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.  So far the weather looks good for the day, so I am excited and I invite all in the area and anyone in New Jersey close enough to drive over to attend!
