Are you holding a contest on Today?
I have recently noticed a growing trend on Today blogs. In an inventive attempt to connect with readers and other bloggers, many of our sister and brother sites have offered free prizes just for commenting, (some also for subscribing to), about the contest they are holding.
Currently Thrifty Chick is giving away free coffee. I commented and asked if they film “Special Movies” in the coffee shop like in the movie Zack and Miri make a Porno…just wondering, did anyone get that joke? Anyway, I realized that there are a lot of movies, songs and tv shows which revolve around coffee shops, like Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Landon Pigg “Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop” and Friends just to name a few.
Cheap Livings is giving away a water fountain for commenting.
Rhonda’s Random Ramblings is giving away Tinkerbell stickers.
Three Times A Bridesmaid just closed a contest for a FREE Target gift card. She ended with 78 comments on her site about the contest!
So I was wondering if anyone else was holding a contest and I missed it. If so, comment and I can add it! Good luck to everyone who entered the contests above!
