~Sunday, November 30, 2008 ~ Create an Advent Wreath~

242981_adventwreathphoto1.jpg

what you need: green construction paper, a paper plate, glue and scissors

1. cut a hole in the center of the paper plate to make the base for your wreath.

2. have everyone in the house trace their hands on the construction paper and cut the design out.  write an inspirational word on your hand and glue to the plate. you can either assemble the entire wreath in one day, or add a hand and new word until christmas day.

3. decorate with glitter, cotton or other on hand supplies as you’d like.  Hang once dry and enjoy.

~PRAY~

Tell God what you are thinking.  Get a notebook and pens/pencils and have everyone in the house write a prayer letter to God.  You can share it as a family or keep it private. Have kids decorate the prayer letter with colorful drawn pictures.

Dear God,

This is my prayer….

Have your Mortgage Paid this month~ & ~ Quick Tips to Online Cash~ $Cha Ching!$

I was glancing through the Today blogs, as I occassionally do…and I came across a post title of “tell us your story of earning online” by US Work From Home Free.  The site asked to share your story if you earn money whicle spending time on the internet.

I thought I would bring this up, because I left a comment on there being that I do earn money online, not just by posting on this wonderful blog (on deals, coupons, etc…) but also because I do spend at least 4 to 6 hours (not consecutively) on the internet per day and let’s face it…times are tough!  I can use an extra $100.00 or more per month.

I also found this post on Extra Money regarding cash back online tips which could be helpful too.

PCMoneyMaker has some awesome links on ways to make money, which if you put enough efort into them, could become serious career suplimenting cash! Writers links are included! YAY!

I know this is a long shot, but it couldn’t hurt and sometimes the suspense is worth it. Contests can be a Godsend if you actually win and I suggest checking the websites of your local radio stations. Most if not ALL radio stations are offering some kind of cash incentive for signing up and listening just for your name to be called, such as this Indiana radio station Hit Country 102.5 WMDH for a chance to win $500.00!

Lite 93.5 (PA, NJ) Clearchannel and Bankers First Mortgage is helping families this month and if you need help paying your mortgage, click here.  You could be one of the lucky people who can have your mortgage paid this month. Wouldn’t that be a blessing? We all say, “If I could just get a break to catch up”, well this could be it!

Lastly, I know this post from NicheGeek.com is a year old however, the opportunities are still there for the most part and if they aren’t I’m sure there are other sites similar.  This was a uniquely different approach to earning some serious cash.

Good Luck and happy holidays…if ANY of this works for anyone, please comment and let me know!
